The industry for wind power energy has shown tremendous employment potential. It has employed more than fifty thousand people in America alone. The U.S. Energy Department is very hopeful about its prospects. And it has been estimated that about 500,000 jobs in this industry will be created by the end of 2030. A career in wind energy looks bright in this country because there is very little possibility of outsourcing the work to a foreign land. This is because the wind technicians, construction workers, and electricians are all required to be present on the site, for performing their duty. Therefore, it offers a stable and long term employment for the youth of America. Plans for creating big wind farms are currently on the move in states like Oklahoma, Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, California, and Texas. The job prospects are also looking bright in some other countries outside America. For instance, China has shown the most amount of promise amongst the developing nations. The future of wind power energy jobs is also looking good in the European continent. The presence of the shipping industry and the flettner rotor is largely responsible for this turnaround. The rotor is an amazing device which primarily works on the principle of utilizing wind and its energy. The device is capable of creating a strong thrust for moving a vehicle as big as a ship. Though its working functions are a bit complex, it has proved extremely effective. German engineer Anton Flettner designed the device. He was an aviation engineer, and made significant contributions in helicopter and airplane designs. Flettner also worked on the development of automatic aircrafts and was mainly responsible for the anti servo tab during the World War I. He was born in 1885 in a small German town.
What is wind power? Wind power is the result of the air movement caused by the uneven heating of the earth's surface, this uneven heating in the earth's surface creates the wind cycle, and there are two patterns in the wind cycle the day and the night cycle.

Harness the power of nature for the benefit of mankind, through the use of electricity. Help's to reduce carbon emission in our environment that causes global warming. What a noble idea but apparently it's not just an idea, it's a fact! Imagine what you can do to contribute to the environment by using a clean source of energy at the same time dramatically reducing your energy bill. One of these types of Eco-friendly electric generator is the wind turbine which converts wind energy to produce wind power

The utilization of wind power is not new to mankind it has been around for generations, since then it has been through a process of evolution regarding its schematics and functions.

About 5,500 years ago, Civilizations utilized and harnessed the wind, using its power to grind corn and pump water. Wind energy was first used as sailboat and as sail ship propeller. Eventually wind power was being used to a more complex wind power system which was been used for the operation of irrigation and blast furnaces during the ancient times. By the seventh century the very first windmill was made in Afghanistan. In Scotland, appeared the very first house to own and utilize the wind power system. In 1890's wind turbine was constructed to generate electricity.

During the day, the air on land heats faster than over water since land molecules are more solid or compact. During the night, the air on land cools quickly.

The warm air over land during the day rises to the air while the heavier, cooler air from the ocean takes it place. This exchange in position by warm and cold air creates the wind. This changes produce force and motion. thus by harnessing the force and motion of the wind which enable the wind mill through its blades to rotate which in turn produces energy and this energy by rotation can be converted to electric energy by the wind turbines, thus, in this process clean renewable electric energy is produced.

Offshore wind has been given the go-ahead for construction in Cape Cod. The nation's first lease for commercial offshore wind energy development was signed at the American Wind Energy Association's (AWEA) North American Offshore Wind Conference in Atlantic City. The wind cape can save 100 million dell studio 1558 battery power. On stage in front of an eager group of photographers and applauding crowd, U.S. Interior Sec. Ken Salazar signed the lease with Cape Wind Associates President Jim Gordon. "Our feeling is that America needs all the renewable energy we can get," Gordon says. "We believed ten years ago that offshore wind could become a major component of America's energy future. We put our money where our mouth was and with have moved the project forward.

In the process we have helped evolved the regulatory framework for offshore wind in America. "

The lease authorizes Cape Wind to construct an offshore wind farm with 130, 3.6-MW Siemens turbines on Horseshoe Shoal in Nantucket Sound, and to operate the facility for a period of 25 years. Gordon says the area is well-suited for the wind farm, with its shallow water, low wave regime, and reasonable proximity to transmit power by under-sea cables, which will run underground to a land fall and the existing grid in Barnstable, Massachusetts. The company expects the project to have a maximum capacity of about 468 MW, and on average produce about 182 MW. On average, the farm will supply 75% of electricity for Cape and islands, meaning Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Cape Cod. We can store these dell studio 1555 battery in cool place.

Since the project's inception, there's been quite a shift in public opinion, according to Gordon.

"When we started ten years ago, I think there was a visceral reaction," he says. "There were those who rushed out trying to define the project through misinformation and fear-mongering because of competitive business interest or fears about property values." However, over the ensuing years and particularly after the draft environmental impact statements came out, Gordon says national environmental organizations like NRDC, The Union of Concerned Scientists, Greenpeace, and The Sierra Club started to support the Cape Wind project, along with organized labor and health and consumer advocates. Independent public opinion polls now show more than 86% of Massachusetts citizens and almost 60% of those on the Cape and islands want Cape Wind built. "We enjoy strong support and favorable public opinion. We're at a position where we're ready to start construction." Gordon says an opposition group funded by coal and oil interests has also tried to stop the project, but the company has overcome their barriers and delaying tactics. Cape Wind's goal is to start construction during the third quarter of 2011 and complete by the end of 2012. Do not fully discharge your battery too frequently.

Gordon explains the next step is for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities to approve the Cape Wind national grid power agreement. "We just completed three weeks of hearings last month, where every aspect of the contract is scrutinized," he says. "We believe we built a solid evidentiary record for approval. We now can use our studio 1558 battery to view their position."

Although the company doesn't see an expansion opportunity within Horseshoe Shoal, Gordon says they will look for other opportunities for more projects in Massachusetts and across the country. And with a U.S. Department of Energy draft plan that calls for the installation of 54,000 MW of offshore wind power capacity by the year 2030 (which would require more than 100 Cape Wind-sized projects) Cape Wind won't be the only one searching. Gordon wishes other developers the best. "I hope that Cape Wind makes it easier for other developers that come after us, " he says. "I'm sure the federal government will incorporate lessons learned from the long regulatory process. The battery are 1 year warranty 30 days money back.My best wishes go out to all the others now looking up and down the East coast to build offshore wind farms."

Wind energy is the fastest growing source of power of any of the renewable energy sources and technologies. With wind energy, the flow of air turns wind turbines to create electricity. As the speed of the wind turning the turbines increases, the amount of power the turbine produces increases as well. In areas where winds are strong, it's a smart choice for providing power to homes and businesses.

Even if you don't live in a windy area, you can still supplement your current electricity supply by utilizing this power source. The best part is by using do-it-yourself guides; even the least skilled handymen can build their own windmills and start using wind power to lower their electric bills each month. However, if you do live in a particularly windy area you can feasibly generate an abundance of electricity.

It is also conceivable to build several wind turbines to power your renewable energy system.

Most of us have seen the pictures of the wind farms being built to supplement power to whole cities. This is a little much for a homestead, but even small dwellings can benefit from multiple smaller wind turbines. In many states, it is possible to sell the excess electricity you generate from to the utilities companies.

The very best part of integrating such a system into your home or business is the environmental impact. Wind power produces little to no pollution, no harmful greenhouse gases and no methane or carbon dioxide-which contribute to global warming. And of course the savings those homeowners can realize after their initial investment, are considerable.

It is definitely worthwhile to learn more about setting up your own energy-producing wind power system.

By building your own wind turbines you can add needed dollars to your pocket and help the environment at the same time. Free power from the wind. Sounds good to me!

History Germany is the development and use of Wind Energy Earlier state, since the 90s of last century, Germany has established a 6600 total of wind power stations. The German government plans, the future will be an annual growth rate of 30% annual growth of more than 1,000 MW of wind power.

Wind energy utilization in Germany is a worthy world champion. Germany has the world's largest wind power generation equipment, third of the world's wind turbines in Germany; wind power installed capacity of up to 12 800 MW, annual generation capacity of 23 billion degrees, sufficient to meet the 7.5 million domestic electricity demand. In Germany, all the natural conditions are right, the land surrounding environment allows almost all wind turbines erected, people began to look aimed abundant marine wind, northern Germany and western parts of the ocean have been put up wind turbines. With the gradual expansion of the scale of wind energy, Germany, wind power equipment manufacturing technology and scale lead the world, Germany's wind power equipment has been in international markets occupy an important position, and wind power related industries provide 40,000 jobs .

Germany's wind power installed capacity of wind power in Europe accounts for half of the total installed capacity, accounting for one third of the world's total installed capacity. Of the 20th century the last 90 years, Germany's newly installed capacity of wind power equipment rapidly, the year 1999 alone, Germany, an increase of 1.568 million kilowatts, the highest annual growth rate of the historical record. This value is about double in 1998. Since 1993, Germany's new wind power installed capacity, the average annual growth rate of 58%. Germany's wind power installed capacity in 2000 reached 6.113 million kilowatts, up to 8.754 million kilowatts in 2001, retaining its position as the world. Germany's wind generating capacity in 85 billion kWh, accounting for the total electricity demand in Germany about 2%. German coast and the northern parts of the local wind power generation accounts for more than 10% of electricity demand. 1999 only, the German wind power equipment, average power has grown to nearly 937 kilowatts. German wind power equipment in 1998 the average power of 785 kilowatts, and in 1995 was only 457 kilowatts. It is estimated that 5 to 7 years in the future wind power capacity in Germany will account for 5% of the total electricity consumption. Germany's wind power capacity in 2020 will reach 15% of the total electricity consumption, 10% from land-based wind power generation facilities, 5% from the offshore wind power generation facilities.

Currently, Germany is the North Sea construction of large offshore wind power base, the initial installation of 100 wind Generator The final installation of 200 wind turbine, each unit generating capacity of 5,000 kilowatts, the total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts, 1.5 billion DM. The project began in October 1999 from the manufacture of wind power generation equipment, plans start generating electricity in 2004. The wind power base built in the territorial waters of the German North Sea island of He ears blue, 25 km from the mainland, the mainland power grid via an undersea cable is connected.

Sep 2007 As world leaders meet for another round of global warming talks, the focus is likely to be on big polluters like China. The country has recently become the world's biggest CO2 emitter. Currently, 80% of China's energy comes from coal. Mindful of the pollution these power stations generate, the government is investing billions in renewable energy. "China is probably going to be the world's number one renewable energy country", predicts businessman Mark Kelleher. By 2020, 16% of the country's energy must come from renewable sources. Much of this will be generated by wind farms. "This area has really developed since the wind power station was built", enthuses one local. "When the wind power station came, people got jobs". Produced by ABC Australia Distributed by Journeyman Pictures
